What is Chlorella ?
Chlorella is a green single-celled algae with a microscopic diameter of only 3-8 microns cultivated in fresh water ponds. Chlorella is a nutrient-dense super food that contains 60% protein, 18 amino acids (including all the essential amino acids), and various vitamins and minerals. It has a grass-like smell because the high amounts of chlorophyll in it, the highest concentration of any plant in the world. How much scientific research has been done on Chlorella?
The research done on chlorella has come from all over the world by scientists at universities, private industry and Chlorella manufacturers. For instance, there are numerous research projects focusing on the detoxification of Chlorella. They found that Chlorella could help us to remove or neutralize poisonous substances from our body. In U.S.A and Europe, the scientists found that chlorella can aid our body in breaking down persistent hydrocarbon and metallic toxins such as mercury, cadmium and lead.
